Absolutely! My prostate has never felt better!
1. Dunno. 2. Yes.
They open at 5pm.
It is usually closed on Mondays.
No reservations. Go early & put yr name on the list because its always busy & there is always a wait, but its worth the wait. They will not seat you until yr whole party is present.
Very cozy and tiny place. The sushi was amazing!! We sat at the bar and the chefs are super nice. If you haven't tried the karaage, it's honestly one of the best I've ever had. Tbh worth the wait. ♡
By far my favourite Japanese restaurant in Canada. Whenever I travel to Vancouver, this place is a must visit for me!
Wow, we came on a Friday dinner time. Sat at the sushi bar. Ordered. The food came out immediately. It was very good quality and delicious. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is cozy, not good for large groups. Would highly recommend for a date night.
Fresh authentic sushi. This place is always busy. Great service.
We went to this place on a Thursday evening and were lucky enough to be seated almost immediately. As other people have said, this place is one of the best sushi places in the city. We ordered their House Combo ($16.75), Nigiri Combo ($16.75), 2 pieces of toro nigiri ($2.95 each) and Nasa Dengaku ($6.95). Their nigiri are fresh even though I feel that their rice is a bit too hard in my taste. The wasabi added to each piece of nigiri is also a bit too much for some of the pieces. The highlight of this order, in my opinion, is their nasa dengaku. Creamy, sweet with a burnt flavor, I couldn't even wait to take a picture, that's how impatient I was. The servers are also all friendly and prompt. A place worth visiting indeed.
A hidden gem in the city!! The eggplant was the best one that I’ve ever had in Vancouver!! Fair price and good service, but make sure you give yourself enough time to wait for a table :)
I meet with friends this lovely spot often! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place many times. The cooking is very tasty, the crew is courteous and the charge is good. I enjoy being in this spot to have a rich supper.
Unless you want to order take out this place will be a long wait for a table so don't come looking for a quick bite. I must admit though their box sushi is fantastic. They also have a grill eggplant and miso black cod that is grilled to perfection. I always order those 3 things along with a few feature sushi pieces. The prices are reasonable and the fish is fresh. If only it wasn't so popular.
Very fresh and tasty fish. The staff are really good and organized. Sushi chefs are welcoming and add to the whole experience. And the prices aren’t the bad considering how good it is. Does get really busy, so pick your times if you don’t want to wait.
Good service, good food, Excellent 👍👍👏👏

The food and service was top quality both times I've been! There is usually a line up when the restaurant opens, but it tends to move quickly. It's well worth the wait!
This is the best sushi place I’ve been to in my entire life. The food is awesome and it’s cheap! It’s traditional and very quaint like a real Japanese cuisine. The annoying part was that we had to wait for an hour and our friends had to wait for 1 1/2 hours l.
This place is great! We came here around 6pm, the wait was about 10 minutes and we were promptly seated. We ordered the Spicy Tuna, House Combo, Nigiri Combo, and an Uni. We enjoyed everything we received! The Spicy Tuna wasn't really spicy but it was still tasty. Would return again. I suggested for those interested to come as early as possible as the lineup can get long quickly.
The most amazing sushi I’ve ever had. This place is small and the wait is long, but it’s totally worth it! Tip: To really have the best experience, I recommend going with several people so that you can all order a bunch of things to share.
Friendly service and quick sesting - items come out fast - menu itemd are high quality and come in at a fair price - great tasting salmon and tuna sashimi w blue fin toro as a premium option - highly recommended - wide menu

Great service, excellent food! Fish was very fresh, place was clean and the staff are so friendly and happy. We will be coming back again! 🍣
Great Nigiri sushi combo. That’s all you need to try before this place becomes your favourite.

Amazing sushi. I spent a lot of time in Vancouver, where the sushi is top notch, and this place rivals the quality and freshness. Highly recommend coming here if you’re a sushi lover.
First come first serve basis. Always filled. We waited half an hour for a table but it was worth it! Extremely friendly staff, although it is filled, they always have an eye on you. We had the selection and halibut cheek.
This sushi restaurant is a gem. Time your visit well or you could have to wait a long time to get a table. I love to sit at the bar and watch the sushi master at work. Get the baked eggplant to accompany your sushi dishes, it is to die for.
By far my favourite Japanese restaurant in Canada. Whenever I travel to Vancouver, this place is a must visit for me!
Food was amazing. Service was above expectations. I have a gluten and soy allergy and they made sure I was able to eat without any issues. Would highly recommend.
Toshi sushi is one of the best sushi joints around and even though you have to wait for a long time before you can get in, is still worth the pain. The food quality is relatively good and dishes are authentic considering all the Korean sushi restaurants in Vancouver. Miso soup is quite satisfying, the baked miso eggplant (Nasu Dengaku) is a sweet appetizer, the miso black cod (even though a bit pricey) is a good side and the house combo is a solid choice. The box sushi is also something to consider. Their sashimi is always fresh and never disappoints. So what is it that we don't like about the place? The wait and sitting is a pain in the neck. You write down your name and wait. They come outside and call you you-never -know-when! The place is small and packs early and unpacks late and you have to patiently wait and wait...
Some of the best sushi I've had, and a lovely experience overall with diligent staff & cozy environment.Certainly a must-visit when you're in the city. My one recommendation would be to go early, as it gets very competitive after 6 and the wait can be a bit ridiculous.
Good because it’s cheap, but there’s better places out there
Great sushi place to bring a date or to just grab a quick bite. Fast service and great sushi.
Fresh authentic sushi. This place is always busy. Great service.
An authentic Japanese sushi place! Friendly and fast service! It is a bit small and it gets crowded / lined up at dinner time (so my friend and I came around 5pm, easy to get a table)! Delicious nigiri, highly recommend their uni nigiri and salmon roe nigiri!!! The salmon sashimi is fresh but there are fish bones inside! :( Nigiri combo is of a great bargain price! $20 for 10 pieces of nigiri! If you order nigiri by pieces, it costs around $30 - $50 per person (depending on what kinds of nigiri you order)!

Had high expectations for this place based on the reviews but our experience was quite the contrary. The portions are tiny for the price. The house role is a joke, almost 9 dollars for a cheaped out dynamite role. When i tried to mention this to the staff, they brushed me off. The only plus to this place is the authentic feel and taste of the food. Go to Tom’s Sushi for a more enjoyable sushi experience.
Super fresh sushi and pretty good prices make toshi sushi an awesome place. Definitely would recommend trying th box sushi, which is a pressed sushi with salmon, shrimp, tuna I believe, and a thin slice of lemon that highlight the flavor of the fish. The sushi pieces are also amazing. You can't really go wrong with anything. The small sushi rolls are really small, but they are also the cheapest ones. I would recommend going for the bigger rolls and sushi pieces.
Good because it’s cheap, but there’s better places out there
Absolutely fresh sushi. It is a bit of a wait to get in because the place is so popular but it's definitely worth it
Very fresh fish . No wonder it is very popular.
We waited over an hour for a table for 2, but the wait was worth it! The sushi was fresh, our server Alton was awesome and the food was amazing. We had the experience and so would probably order to go in the future, but we had to eat in at least once!
The sashimi was very fresh and clean tasting! Not too expensive either. The chicken wings with super tasty as well! They do grilled eggplant excellently, I definitely recommend if you like eggplant. It’s a very small restaurant but worth the wait.
The best sushi in Vancouver. It is ALWAYS fresh, the staff is ALWAYS kind and friendly. I’ve gone on several occasions and I’ve never had a complaint. A true gem

Great place. Been coming here for years but not frequently because I hate to line up. Prices have gone up and the quality is as expected. If you can get here early I suggest you come here. If you love to line up you should come here. If you don’t like either go somewhere else.
Great sushi, take out is usually the best way to go because it's usually very busy.
